Donate Goods

Community Warehouse needs donations of clean, usable furniture and household items for individuals and families in need. More than 60 households receive the essential items they need for their home each week.

furniture

Furniture — Mattresses & Box Springs (especially Twin and Double), Dressers, Night Stands, Kitchen Tables & Chairs, Sofas, Loveseats, Recliners, Coffee and End Tables, Shelves, Small Desks and Lamps

kitchenware

Kitchenware — Dishes, Glasses, Pots & Pans, Silverware, Cooking Utensils, Baking Pans & Casserole Dishes, Dish Racks, Toasters, Coffee Makers, Mixers, Blenders and Microwave Ovens

household items

Basic Household Items — Sheets, Blankets, Towels, Sleeping Pillows, Mirrors, Fans, Space Heaters, Mops, Brooms & Vacuum Cleaners, TVs, Radios, Alarm Clocks, Irons, Telephones and Garbage Cans.

Your willingness to bring the items to the Warehouse reduces our operating costs and is very much appreciated. Drop off any day of the week 10-4.

Please note, we are happy to pick up your donation of large items.  We ask for a $10 donation to help cover the cost of the truck.  To schedule a donation pickup please click here.

Please note the following information:

  • Please only donate items in ready to use condition.
  • We help individuals and families moving into small apartments - no really large items please.
  • Please have the items you wish to donate in your garage, on the driveway or very close to your doorway so that our drivers can load quickly.
  • Families need twin, double and queen beds and rarely have the room to accommodate a king bed.
  • Sofas and armchairs are our most frequently donated items. For this reason, it is the only item that we screen carefully. We ask that the material is clean with no rips or tears.
  • Please no console TVs (a TV in a furniture case).
  • We do not directly pick up large appliances. If your washer, dryer or refrigerator is 12 years old or less, we can often match your donation directly with families who have requested appliances through other social service agencies.

We do not take:
Clothing, food, large desks, baby items, console televisions, bikes, or exercise equipment. Please Click here for a list of other non-profit agencies that may need your donation.
