Shelley Henkle Shelley Henkle was born and raised in the Bay Area. She has lived in Portland almost 30 years and was in the children’s clothing business. Her creations are a reflection of the past, combining vintage textiles, buttons and embroideries. “Whimsical” and “Charming” are often used to describe her shop, “Why Not?” on 13th Ave in Sellwood. “I am so blessed.
